Privacy Policy
Isocline is a technical publication operated by Pyrion Group LLC (Austin, Texas). This policy explains what limited data we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to send the newsletter and understand traffic, we use no tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Newsletter email address. If you subscribe to The Tuesday Dispatch, we store the email address you provide so we can send the newsletter. That's the only field we require.
- Privacy-first analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country) without cookies and without fingerprinting individual visitors. It does not build a profile of you.
- Server logs. Our host (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata such as IP address for security, abuse prevention, and delivery. We do not use these logs to identify or track readers.
What we do not do
- We do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not run third-party ad networks on this site.
Email & the newsletter
Newsletter subscriptions are managed through Kit (our email service provider), which stores your address and delivery metrics on our behalf. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from the active sending list.
Affiliate links
Some dossiers include "Further Reading" links to books and materials on Amazon. Isocline participates in the Amazon Associates program and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links never influence which sources we cite or how Argus scores a claim — verification is independent of monetization.
Third-party services
We rely on a small set of reputable providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, privacy-first analytics), Kit (newsletter delivery), Google Fonts (typography), and Amazon (affiliate links). Each processes data only as needed to perform its function.
Your choices & rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You may also request that we access, correct, or delete the email address we hold for you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those requests regardless of location.
Children
Isocline is intended for a professional and adult technical audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes affecting subscribers will be noted in the newsletter.
